UPDATE -- Parking in Town Square Garages

Changes in paid parking in Rockville Town Square garages were effective July 2010.  The rates are now:  (1) Monday-Friday, $1 per hour from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (2) Monday-Friday, 6:00 to 10:00 p.m., $1 flat fee (3) Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., $1 flat fee for entire day (4) NO FREE PARKING for library users.  Parking meters continue to be $1 per hour from 7 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday-Saturday.  Parking at meters is free 10 p.m.-7 a.m. and all day Sunday plus city holidays.

Bike events and repair

Did you know that there is a Rockville Bike Advisory Committee (RBAC), which offers various bike programs?  You can ride the Millennium Trail with your friends and family.  The Trail is a 10.6 mile loop around Rockville   Part of it parallels Wootton Parkway and can be accessed where Dundee intersects with Wootton.

ROCKVILLE LIBRARY -

New hours: M-Th 10-8; F-Sat 10-6 (also Sundays during school year from 1-5 p.m.)  For updates, go to http://www.montgomerycountymd.gov/content/libraries/index.asp and click on "Branches and hours."  

To view the library catalogue online, click on this link  ww.montgomerycountymd.gov/libraries/  and if you have a library card, you can also reserve books, DVDs, Playaways, and other materials to pick up.  The large Rockville library is located at the heart of the new town center on Maryland Avenue between Middle Lane and Beall Avenue.
